What is Nestly?
▶ Video coming soonNestly is a family hub: one app where your household keeps everything that makes family life run. The money, the meal plan, the shopping list, the photos, the chat and the calendar. It lives on the web at nestlyapp.co and installs on any phone like a normal app.
- One household, one place. One person creates the family and invites the others.
- Everyone gets their own login. No shared passwords.
- You decide who sees what. Kids can be limited to just the fun bits.
- Works everywhere. Phone, tablet or computer. Add it to your home screen and it feels like a real app.
Getting started
▶ Video coming soonThere are two ways in: someone invites you, or you start your own family.
Get the invite. A family member sends you a link by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
Tap the link. Choose your name and a password. That's your own login.
Add it to your phone. In your browser choose “Add to Home Screen” and Nestly sits next to your other apps.
Done. You'll see exactly what your family has switched on for you.
Create your account at nestlyapp.co and set up your household. Give it a name.
Invite your people. Settings → Invites: type an email or mobile number, and Nestly prepares the WhatsApp / SMS / email invite for you.
Pick roles. Adult or child. You can fine-tune what each person sees later.

Money, without the spreadsheet
▶ Video coming soonConnect your bank accounts (or import files from your bank) and Nestly shows the whole family's money in one place: what came in, what went out, and what's left over.
- Live balances. Accounts can sync straight from the bank.
- Nestly learns. Categorise “Woolworths” once and every future shop is filled in for you, marked 🪄. You just tick ✓ to confirm. After the first month it's mostly ticks.
- Budgets & goals. Set monthly budgets per category and savings goals for the big things.
- Monthly review. A plain-English write-up of the month: what went well, what to watch, where money could be saved.
- Private accounts. No joint account? No problem: an account can be visible to its owner only.
Meals & recipes
▶ Video coming soonNo “setting up recipes” first. Click a day in the meal planner and just type. “Spag bol” is enough. Nestly remembers every meal you've typed and suggests it next time.
- Plan the week in a minute. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Type and go.
- Recipes from anywhere. Paste a link, snap a photo of a cookbook page, even use a video.
- Ingredients are optional. Add them when you like and they power the shopping list.
- Cook mode & scaling. Cooking for 4 or 10? Nestly does the maths.
Shopping: the fridge note, upgraded
▶ Video coming soonRunning low on milk? Jot it down in two seconds, like the paper note on the fridge. At the end of the week Nestly turns everything into ready-made shopping lists.
- One plan, three sources. Your notes 📝 + pantry staples running low 🧺 + this week's recipe ingredients 🍽️, merged into one checklist.
- One list per shop. Meat for the butcher, the rest for the supermarket, automatically split.
- Sorted like the store. Lists are grouped by aisle so you walk the shop once.
- The pantry remembers. Preferred shop, usual amounts, minimum stock: all optional, all helpful.
Photos, messages & documents

- Photo albums for holidays and family moments, with a little chat under each album.
- Family chat with rooms and direct messages, and notifications on your phone.
- The filing cabinet. Snap the mortgage papers, car insurance, warranties. Nestly reads the key dates and warns you before things expire.
Family planner & holidays

Safe & private

- Your family only. One household's data is never visible to another, enforced at the database level.
- Per-person permissions. Choose module by module what each child (or adult!) can see and edit.
- PIN on the money. The Finance area can ask for a PIN on each device.
- Shared tablets covered. The screen locks after quiet time; everyone is signed out overnight.
